Beta customer policies
Hosting terms for early Exaltry customers.
These policies are a beta starting point. They should be reviewed before Exaltry scales beyond early Minecraft hosting customers.
Refunds
Monthly hosting is billed in advance. First-time customers can request a refund within 72 hours of the first server activation if the service has not been abused, used for non-Minecraft workloads, or placed under unusual operational load. Renewals, upgrades, setup work, and add-ons are not normally refundable after the billing period begins. Approved refunds terminate the related service unless Exaltry agrees otherwise.
Cancellations
Customers can cancel before renewal to avoid the next charge. After cancellation, the server may be suspended at the end of the paid period. Server files and backups may be deleted 7 days after the paid period ends unless Exaltry agrees in writing to a longer export or recovery window.
Support Contact
For billing, account access, cancellation, or refund questions, contact [email protected]. Discord is available for server setup help, incident updates, and community support.
Backups
Each plan includes two panel backup slots. Customers may use those slots for world exports or recovery points, and Exaltry support may use them before risky support changes when practical. Backups are best-effort recovery points, may be overwritten when the two-slot limit is reached, and are not a substitute for customers keeping their own exports of important worlds. Customers are responsible for testing important mods, plugins, and data changes before relying on them.
Plugins, Mods, and Migrations
The configurator lets customers choose the closest server type before payment. Vanilla, Paper, Purpur, and compatible plugin presets are usually straightforward. Modpacks, Geyser/Floodgate, custom files, and world migrations may require manual review before launch. Exaltry may decline or adjust requests that are unstable, unsafe, incompatible, or too heavy for the selected plan.
Customer Data
Exaltry hosting stores Minecraft server files, panel account details, billing/customer identifiers from Stripe, and support information customers choose to provide. Customers should not store private personal information, secrets, financial data, medical data, or other sensitive records inside server files. Server data may be accessed when needed for provisioning, support, abuse investigation, backup recovery, security, or maintenance.
Website Analytics and Inquiries
Exaltry records first-party website events such as page visits, configuration starts, checkout creation, completed purchases, and campaign tags in shared links. This helps measure which pages and outreach efforts lead to customers. The analytics system uses a random session identifier and does not intentionally store a visitor's IP address, advertising identifier, or cross-site browsing history. Browser Do Not Track requests are respected. If a visitor submits the inquiry form, Exaltry stores the name, email, question, and campaign source needed to reply and manage the request. An inquiry does not subscribe the visitor to marketing email.
Acceptable Use
Customers may not use Exaltry for malware, credential theft, denial-of-service activity, harassment campaigns, illegal content, or attempts to compromise other systems. Servers that create abuse complaints or operational risk may be suspended.
Uptime
Exaltry is currently a public beta running from a home-hosted node. There is no formal uptime SLA during beta. Power, internet, maintenance, upstream routing, hardware failure, and attacks can affect availability. Customers that need guaranteed uptime or enterprise-grade DDoS protection should use a datacenter-backed provider.
DDoS and Network Abuse
Exaltry does not include enterprise-grade DDoS protection during the home-server beta. Servers that receive attacks, create network abuse, or create unusual risk to the node, router, ISP connection, other customers, or Exaltry infrastructure may be rate-limited, suspended, moved, or terminated. Exaltry may share only Exaltry hostnames with customers, but no DNS-based setup can guarantee that the origin network will stay hidden from a determined attacker.
Minecraft EULA
Customers are responsible for complying with Mojang/Microsoft's Minecraft usage guidelines and EULA. Exaltry is not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft and may suspend servers that create legal, abuse, or platform risk.
